Evander Holyfield Arrives in Florida – Miami is the site of this week’s World Boxing Council annual convention. The confab has been attracting boxing people from all over the world and few if any are as high profile as former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
Next year, Evander Holyfield will lead the class of 2017 as he enters the Canastota, New York International Boxing Hall of Fame. The 54 year old is never far from boxing and he has been seen at many of the big fights throughout the years of his retirement. Holyfield last fought in May of 2011 when he defeated Brian Nielsen in Denmark, and he retired with an overall record of 44-10-2.

In this latest TBC footage, our roving cameraman Marcelino Castillo captures Holyfield as he talks to the members of the media in Miami. Holyfield was in town to attend the WBC’s 2016 convention and here he shares some of his thoughts on the current state of boxing.
