Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury Heavyweight Round up – Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (27-0-0, 19 KOs) won the second fight of his comeback and cleared the path to a bout with WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder (40-0-0, 39 KOs) later this year.
Wilder was ringside at Windsor Park in Belfast to see Fury take the full 10 rounds against Francesco Pianeta (35-5-1, 21 KOs) before being awarded the victory on points, 100-90.
Anthony Joshua will defend his WBA Super, IBF, and WBO Heavyweight World titles against WBA mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin at Wembley Stadium on September 22.
