Rafael Garcia, the always-smiling and beloved boxing lifer worked as a trainer, cutman and hand-wrapper. He had more than six decades of experience and worked all over the world with fighters such as Roberto Duran, Alexis Arguello, Wilfredo Gomez, Chad Dawson and many more.
Garcia will be most remembered by today’s fans for his association with five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. Rafael died last November due to complications from leukemia.
