Bopp, Munoz Defend Belts – WBC world female 115-pound champion Zulina Munoz successfully defended her title last night in Hermosillo, Mexico. The 29-year-old Munoz moved her record to an eye catching 48-1-2 with a 10 round unanimous decision over a game Carolina Alvarez of Venezuela.
In Termas de Rio Hondo, Argentina, WBA world female 108-pound champion Yesica Yolanda Bopp successfully defended her belt with a 10-round unanimous decision over veteran Anahi Torres. Bopp improved her record to 30-1.
