Anthony “Tony” Lewis Bellew

Tony Bellew is a British professional prizefighter. He previously held the British and Commonwealth light-heavyweight titles and the European cruiserweight title. He also held the WBC cruiserweight title. His professional record is 33-2-1, with 20 KOs. His last fight was a TKO win against David Haye in May of this year. Tony actually decided to come out of retirement, when Usyk called him out.

Bellew insists that this fight is not about the money, but is a personal challenge, perhaps the biggest of his life. He believed that he was the best cruiserweight in the world when he left the division, and since then, Usyk has become the face of the division. He feels that he has been living the dream and now he is putting it all on the line.He predicts a victory.

He describes this upcoming fight as, “One of the most hellacious wars you will ever see….the biggest fight in cruiserweight history”.

He claims that this fight will determine how good he really is. He plans to get to Usyk, to find the answers and to break his heart. Bellew plans to officially retire after this fight, going out with a bang.

The fight will be held at the Manchester Arena this Saturday night, November 10th.. It will be featured live on Sky Sports Box Office, with coverage starting at 6pm.  The main event is expected to start around 10:00 pm.
