Photo Credit: Rachel McCarson – Veteran Orlando Salido used his experience in the ring to beat a younger, favorite Vasyl Lomachenko.
Salido had left the WBO Featherweight title at the scale the day before because he couldn't make weight (126lbs), and came into the fight weighing 147 pounds against 136 pounds for Lomachenko.
He used the extra weight to his advantage and punished Lomachenko's body; unfortunately fans also noticed he also used a lot of low blows and the referee Laurence Cole did nothing about.
