Heavyweight Round Up with Frank Lotierzo – This past Saturday July 28th, Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte (24-1-0, 17 KOs) defeated Joseph Parker (24-2-0, 18 KOs) for the WBC Silver and WBO International Heavyweight crowns at The O2 Arena in London. In the co-main event, Dereck Chisora (29-8-0, 21 KOs) stopped Carlos Takam (35-5-1, 27 KOs) via TKO in the eighth round and won the vacant WBA international heavyweight Title.

In the same night, but at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Cuba’s Luis “King Kong” Ortiz (29-1-0, 25 KOs) knocked out the Romanian Razvan Cojanu (16-4-0, 9 KOs) in the second round.

Anthony Joshua (21-0-0, 20 KOs) will defend his WBA Super, IBF, and WBO Heavyweight World titles against Alexander Povetkin (34-1-0, 24 KOs) at Wembley Stadium on September 22.

Bryant Jennings (23-2, 13 KOs) will face off against Alexander “Sascha” Dimitrenko (41-3, 26 KOs) for the WBO International heavyweight title on Saturday, August 18.

Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury (26-0-0, 19 KOs) has confirmed he is in advanced talks to fight Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (40-0-0, 39 KOs) for the WBC world heavyweight title in December.
