Promoter Bobby Hitz was at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana with a grass-roots level event this past Saturday May 14th.

The co-featured bout of the evening saw undefeated lightweight Jose Arambula return after a layoff of more than a year to score a first round stoppage over journeyman Johnny Frazier (2-28-4). Arambula is still just 23 years old and the win this past Saturday moves his record to 11-0 overall.

Here in this latest Boxing Channel interview, our analyst Ray Flores breaks down this past weekend’s fight with Arambula.

Here at the Boxing Channel, we call our analyst Ray Flores “The Road Warrior” for a reason. Take the weekend of May 7th when he was at the Saul Alvarez vs Amir Khan fight in Las Vegas on Saturday, he flew to Florida for the Premier Boxing Champions on Sunday and then back to Los Angeles for an MMA event on Monday.

The weekend of the 14th was a weekend of rest at his home in the Chicago area so of course Flores attended the fights in nearby Indiana. Kudos Ray.

Ray’s work can also be seen with the Premier Boxing Champions and on ESPN and ESPN Chicago
