Jimmy Lennon Jr Honors His Father at IBHOF 2017 -The Canastota, New York International Boxing Hall of Fame held their 2017 induction ceremonies this past weekend and entering as a non-participant was legendary ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Sr.
Jimmy Lennon Sr passed away on April 20th, 1992 one week after his 79th birthday and he left behind a legacy of decades in the sport of boxing and beyond. Lennon Jr appeared in the movies “Rocky III” and “Raging Bull” and his Hollywood credits include appearances on over a dozen TV series including “Taxi”, The Munsters”, “The Fall Guy”, “Mission Impossible” and “The Monkees.” As well as boxing, Lennon Jr is in the pro wrestling hall of fame for his work in that medium as well.
