What A Joshua Win Means For Boxing – Later this Saturday night in London’s Wembley Stadium, 27-year-old Anthony Joshua will step into the ring to face Wladimir Klitschko in a 12-round bout with multiple world heavyweight titles on the line.
Klitschko is back at 41 years old to try and re-claim the WBA and IBF world titles he lost to Tyson Fury back in November of 2015. Klitschko has been away from the ring for the past sixteen months, but he returns as focused and as prepared as he has ever been. Despite his 20+ world title fights and 64-4 overall record, there are many who feel Joshua represents the stiffest test of Klitschko’s Hall of Fame career. For Klitschko, a win means a fitting final chapter where he gets to go out on top, a rare feat in boxing.
But what does a win for the young, potential filled Joshua?
