Undefeated Julian Williams (22-0-1) gets his long awaited first chance at a world title this coming Saturday, December 10th when he faces IBF world super welterweight champion Jermall Charlo (24-0) at the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California. The fight is the feature event of an 8-fight boxing card that also features Jesus Andres Cuellar and Abner Mares for the WBA world title at featherweight.
As part of the build-up to December 10th’s fight, Showtime Sports has visited Williams in his hometown to produce “Philadelphia’s Rising Star.” Williams has made no secret that his goal is to unify the world titles at 154 pounds in what is a deep and talent-laden division.
