IBF and WBA world light welterweight champion Julius Indongo is scheduled to meet WBC and WBO titlist Terence Crawford this coming August 19th in a fight that will air on ESPN.
Indongo (22-0) won the IBF belt with a stunning first round knock out of Eduard Troyanovsky in Russia and then he traveled to Scotland and beat Ricky Burns to add the WBA belt to his growing collection. Indongo is a native of Namibia in Africa and it is notable that all his title wins have come in hostile territory, in the hometown of his opponents. This coming August 19th wont be any different as Indongo will be facing Crawford in the WBC and WBO champion’s home state of Nebraska.
