Kuzmin vs Mansour is Monday in Moscow – Veteran heavyweight Amir Mansour travels to Moscow to face Russia’s undefeated Sergey Kuzmin in the main event of World Boxing’s card at the Luzhniki Sports Complex.
The 30 year old Kuzmin turned profesional in 2014 after a long amateur career and he has stayed undefeated with four fights in the United States, one in Argentina and the rest in his native Russia. In Mansour, he is facing battle-tested competition and another step up in class. Mansour, though 45 years old now, is coming off a March win against Travis Kaufmann that got Kuzmin’s attention.
The co-feature sees former IBF 140-pound world champion Eduard Troyanovsky return in search of his second win after he was knocked out by Julius Indongo. Troyanovsky is facing undefeated Carlos Manuel Portillo of Paraguay in what is a major step up in class for the South American fighter.
