Lotierzo Breakdown The Return of Kell Brook – Saturday March 3rd sees the return of former IBF welterweight champion Ezekiel “Kell” Brook (36-2-0, 25 KOs) facing Belarus’ Siarhei Rawpanka (29-2-0, 22 KOs) for the vacant WBC Silver Super Welterweight Title at the Sheffield Arena in the United Kingdom.
Brook had successful surgery on his eye in June 2017 and said that he would start training again in the summer looking to make a ring return in late 2017. Kell’s eye socket suffered a serious damaged when he fought against Gennady Golovkin in 2016, this injury played a major role on his next match versus to Chris Eubank Jr. which he ended up losing. Despite the fact that Brook credited Spence, admitting he lost to the better boxer, his eye troubled him no doubt about it.
In this latest TBC report, our “killer” analyst Frank Lotierzo gives us his take on Kell Brook’s return.
