Ray Flores Last Minute Look Linares vs Crolla 2 – This weekend’s boxing calendar is light on the American side of the Atlantic but across the pond in Manchester, England, Eddie Hearn and his Matchroom Boxing are hosting a big 11 fight card that sees a rematch in the main event spot.
Once again, the WBA world title at lightweight will be contested between Venezuela’s Jorge Linares and England’s Anthony Crolla. The pair first met last September when Linares fought Crolla at the Manchester Arena and the night ended with the WBA trinket around the waist of Linares via unanimous decision.
The rematch was signed almost immediately as Crolla (31-5-3) put on a credible performance defending his title. As for Linares, he is now 41-3 and he has won world titles in three different weight classes. A great deal of high level competition awaits the winner of this one.
