Shawn Porter Out, Yordenis Ugas In for Aug 26th – Former IBF welterweight world champion Shawn Porter has pulled out of his planned next match due to personal reasons associated with a death in his family. Porter was scheduled to face Thomas Dulorme in a ten round bout in support of the August 26th PPV between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor.
Leonard Ellerbe issued a statement sending Porter and his family “deepest condolences” and he also announced that Dulorme would now be facing Cuba’s Yordenis Ugas on August 26th.
