Tyson Fury Returns with a Victory Over Sefer Seferi – The undefeateated and former heavyweight champion of the world, Tyson “Gypsy King” Fury (26-0-0, 18 KOs) made his high expected comeback against Albania’s Sefer Seferi (23-2-0, 21 KOs) on Saturday, June 9th at the Manchester Arena, England.
Fury kissed the Albanian just before the bell sounded, then defeated him in four one-sided rounds. The “Gypsy King” was fighting for the first time since he upset Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.
In the co-main event, Maurice Hooker (24-0-3, 16 KO’s) defeated Terry Flanagan (33-0, 13 KO’s) by split decision and won the vacant WBO super lightweight championship. The official scorecards were: 117-111 for Flanagan / 117-111 and 115-113 for Hooker.
