WBO President Talks Zou Shiming – WBO President “Paco” Valcarcel spoke at Top Rank’s Thursday press conference regarding the three world title fights under the Saturday’s Pacquaio-Vargas main event.

The WBO World flyweight title will be on the line as China’s Zou Shiming (8-1) takes on Thailand’s Prasitsak Phaprom (39-1-2) for the vacant belt this Saturday night, November 5th at the Thomas and Mack Center

Zou Shiming is fighting under a great deal of scrutiny in his home country as he seeks to become China’s first ever world boxing champion. The business potential around Shiming has already been noticed by many of boxing’s luminaries. Shiming’s first bid to win an IBF world title ended in failure and it is the WBO that has stepped up to sanction this match that is being viewed as a piece of boxing history.
