Ray Flores Live Report From The Weigh-Ins – Our road warrior analyst Ray Flores reports live from the scene in Brooklyn as the weigh-ins went down on Friday afternoon.
Flores provides the big news – Javier Fortuna, the former super featherweight champion, is over the 135-pound lightweight limit by more than a pound and a half and he has two hours to cut the weight. The process will be followed, but Flores reports that Easter Jr has agreed to the fight even if Fortuna is over the weight, so if Fortuna is unable to pare down to 135 pounds, the IBF title will be on line only for Easter Jr.; if Fortuna wins, the title will be declared vacant. Spence Jr and Peterson were reported to be on weight for their main event encounter with the IBF welterweight title on the line. Check out more of what Ray had to say right here at TBC.
