Rojas Stops Marrero Results and more – Golden Boy got their big weekend in Las Vegas started off Friday with a five fight boxing card at the MGM Grand.

The main event of the evening saw Jesus M Rojas of Puerto Rico stop Claudio Marrero to grab the interim WBA world title at featherweight. The end came in round seven when Rojas sent Marrero crashing to the floor. The WBA’s principal “Super World” title is currently in the hands of Leo Santa Cruz and there is a WBA world title in the hands of Abner Mares as well, so the WBA has now added a third title holder at 126 LBS.
