Crawford vs Molina Jr – this coming December 10th sees boxing return to the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, as hometown hero and WBC/WBO world 140-pound champion Terence Crawford (29-0) returns to defend his belts against the challenge of John Molina Jr (29-6).
Crawford is coming off a stand-out performance back on July 23rd when he headlined his first pay-per-view and he won an impressive unanimous decision over the dangerous Viktor Postol (28-1). This fight marks Crawford’s return to his hometown of Omaha, where he last fought back in October of 2015 when he made the first successful defense of his WBO title, defeating Dierry Jean.
Molina Jr is a veteran who will enter the fight a major underdog. He is coming off a standout performance where he outboxed rugged Ruslan Provodnikov (25-4) this past June to win the vacant WBC International title and line up this shot at Crawford.
The fight is set to air on HBO this coming December 10th.
