Diego Morilla Looks Back at The Career of ‘El Terible’ – Mexico’s Erik Morales was named part of the 2018 induction class for the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, NY. The ceremonies are scheduled for the first weekend in June as Morales is joined by Vitali Klitschko and Ronald “Winky” Wright going into the hall.

Morales goes in with a career mark of 52 wins, with only nine defeats. He won world titles in four different weight classes (Super Bantamweight, Featherweight, Super Featherweight and Super Lightweight), becoming the first fighter born in Mexico to achieve that lofty goal. In the ring, he is perhaps best remembered for his pair of fierce trilogies with Manny Pacquaio and Marco Antonio Barrera.

In this latest segment for TBC, our Latin American correspondent Diego Morilla reminisces on the career of “El Terible.” Morilla gives us his unique take on Morales’ career from our TBC studios in Costa Rica.
