Lotierzo Looks At Light Heavyweight Dmitry Bivol – This past Saturday night at the MGM National Theater in Oxon Hill, Maryland, Russia’s Dmitry Bivol ran his professional record to 10-0 and captured the interim WBA world title at light heavyweight with a strong fourth round knockout showing against American Samuel Clarkson.
With the interim belt around his waist, the 26-year-old Bivol is poised to make some noise in what is a crowded weight class. The world awaits the June 17th re-match between kingpins Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev and the division includes the likes of Adonis Stevenson, Joe Smith Jr, Badou Jack, Artur Beterbiev and Sullivan Barrera.
