Ray Flores Talks Cotto vs Ali For Saturday – Miguel Cotto takes on Sadam Ali this Saturday night on HBO. The match is being billed as the 37-year-old Cotto’s retirement bout and Ali is stepping in to try and send him off with a loss. Cotto’s WBO world title at 154 pounds is on the line as well as Cotto puts up the belt he grabbed in his last fight when he won a UD over Japan’s Yoshihiro Kamegai.
Cotto will be looking to notch the 42nd win of his storied career while Ali (25-1) is looking for his third win in a row since he suffered the lone setback of his career at the hands of Jessie Vargas in his first world title bid. Ali is hoping that in his case, the second time is the charm.
